College in High School Calculus
College in High School Calculus is a College in High School (CHS) course (MATH 2070 Calculus with Analytic Geometry) offered in partnership with Robert Morris University. This is a college level Calculus course geared toward Mathematics, Engineering, and Science majors. Topics covered include limits, continuity, derivatives, rules for derivation, applications, and related rates; optimization techniques for extrema including Rolle's and mean value theorems; first and second derivative tests; curve sketching; differentials and indefinite integrals; Riemann Sums; integration techniques, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Though not required, students have the opportunity, for a fee, to earn 4 college credits while still in high school.
