Personal Finance
All grade 11 students are required to take this course as part of their graduation requirements. This course aims to help students develop appropriate money management skills both now and in the future. The personal finance topics explored in this course include: budgeting, saving, banking, compound interest, retirement, credit cards, loans (including car loans and mortgages), the stock market, and product profitability. This course will be hybrid in nature, as learning will occur both in the classroom and through the use of online resources. Grade 12 students may have the opportunity to take this course, pending student interest, during the 2026-27 school year.
